Because Prayer Changes Things
Love has been made perfect among us in this: that we may have boldness on the day of judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world.
Psalm 34:8-9
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.”
Deuteronomy 7:9 – “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations.”
Isaiah 49:16 says, “Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.” This verse uses the image of engraving on the palm to show…
Galatians 6:9 – “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
This verse encourages us not to tire in doing good. Sometimes, people around us or situations can weigh down our spirits and make us feel like giving up. But St. Paul reminds us to be strong and trust in what the Lord will do on our behalf. Doing good always pays off.
Isaiah 54:10
“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant aof peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord who has compassion on you.
This is a great promise of God to us. Even if the impossible happens, and the hills are removed and the mountains depart, God’s love will never depart.
Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
The promises of the Lord are new every morning. We thank God for His love and promises towards us and our generations. He is a God who loves us even when we go astray, and He remains faithful. God has promised to go before us.
Psalm 31:19
“Oh, how abundant is your goodness which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you in the sight of the children of mankind.”
We trust and believe that God has stored up goodness, favor, and blessings for those who fear Him. He will not let us suffer, and His goodness endures forever. He has promised to bless the offspring of those who trust in Him a
Proverbs 16:20
“Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.”
This verse teaches that those who meditate on God’s
Philippians 4:19
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Brother Paul’s message is that God will provide for all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. This promise is not a guarantee of a trouble-free life, but it reassures us that God will provide for us according to His will.
