Psalm 31:19
“Oh, how abundant is your goodness which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you in the sight of the children of mankind.”
We trust and believe that God has stored up goodness, favor, and blessings for those who fear Him. He will not let us suffer, and His goodness endures forever. He has promised to bless the offspring of those who trust in Him and know Him. Even their descendants will be blessed, and people will see and know that we serve a living God.
When we worship God with fear and trembling, doing our best through His grace to abide in His love and keep His rules, God never forsakes us in times of need. Our generation will call us blessed because we have been thoroughly blessed by the Most High God. Psalm 23:5 says, “The Lord prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemies; you anoint my head; my cup overflows.”
Father, I pray that you will open our eyes to behold the goodness you have stored up for us and our children. We pray that God will give our children the strength to love and abide in Him even in times of difficulty. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
