In Psalm 32:7, God is a hiding place that preserves his children from trouble. He surrounds us with ‘shouts of deliverance’. When we put our trust in the Lord, we can be reassured that our lives are hid in his.
We are reminded in 2 Timothy 3 :1 that in the last days, there will be very difficult times but we are also reminded in Ephesians 3:16 that we fight not against flesh and blood but against mighty powers in this dark world.
A powerful weapon that we have as believing mums is the ability to pray a daily hedge of protection around our children, so that no matter what troubles come our children’s way, we have the confidence that God is on their side and we remain ever ready to face the battles. We are assured that our children live securely in the God who is the best hiding place of all.
