Finding Joy in Their Calling

John 1:15 – “John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.” (NLT)

John the Baptist spent his entire life doing what he knew he was called to do. He spent his days in total submission to his purpose, his calling, and his assignment, even when his life depended on it.

Our children have been called for a specific assignment on this earth, but this only happens when they know their perfect place; when they understand where they have been called to, and what they have been assigned for here on earth.

This understanding causes them to pursue their calling with everything they have regardless of the opposition that comes their way. Like John the Baptist, we pray that our children will find their place in the body of Christ, and may they do whatever they’ve been called to do with passion and exuberance.
