Romans 8:1, KJV: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
The enemy is quick to tell us when we go wrong that we have been forsaken, condemned or that we have committed a sin that is too heavy for God to forgive. That’s a lie from the devil. Romans 8:1 tells us that there is no condemnation if we walk after the Spirit.
We are human and so our fleshly desires will always cause us to sin; but when we recognise that Jesus paid the price so that when we fall into sin, we don’t become eternally condemned; but we can genuinely repent and go back to our Heavenly Father, he promises us that he will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
As our children experience the world and all the things therein, they are sure to make mistakes and perhaps fall into sin, we must teach them never to feel condemned, but that our Heavenly Father is always waiting with open arms. We pray that as they manoeuvre their Christian journey, may they continue to seek to grow and develop into maturity.
