Isaiah 65:23
They shall not labor in vain or bear children for calamity, for they shall be the offspring of the blessed of the Lord, and their descendants with them.
Thank God for His assurance that the things we fear will not come to pass, and that as we worship Him, we can be assured that our efforts as human beings to be better will not be in vain. God will keep His promises, and our descendants shall be blessed with plenty, even in times of scarcity.
As praying mothers, whatever effort we put forth will surely yield fruit. Our efforts will not be in vain. Our children shall be blessings to the world, and their light will shine among their peers.
This should also assure us that as we labor for God, it shall not be in vain. Our children are covered and protected from calamities. Hebrews 6:10 states, “God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown in His name in serving the saints, as you still do.”
We pray that God’s grace will not produce laziness in our children, but rather, it will produce hard workers. They shall not labor in vain, for they are blessed, and will be protected by God. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
