Numbers 6:24-26 states, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”
As children of God, our wish and prayer is that the Lord will keep us and make His light to shine on us and our generations. When the light of God is on us, His glory will pave the way for us. His light never goes off. God’s light connects, protects, shines, favours us, and makes way for His people.
The shining of God’s light brings grace into our lives. It makes us live a life that pleases God and also makes us children of God. It is only by God’s grace that we are alive in the land of the living, that we are mothers, and that we have a family that we call our own. God’s grace attracts God’s face to us.
As mothers, we believe that God’s grace brings peace to our households. God gives us strength and blesses our generations with peace, Psalm 29:11.
We pray that God’s gracious light shines on our children and let the peace of God be with them. In your peace, may our children lie down and sleep, for God alone may they dwell in safety, Psalm 4:8.
