Jeremiah 17:7-8
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is in the Lord. He is like a tree planted by the waterside that sends out its roots by the stream and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain.”
When we trust in the Lord, we are blessed because we are handing over all our worries, wishes, requests, challenges, etc., to Him, believing that He is capable of handling it all. He asked us to hand over all our worries to Him because He will take care of us (1 Peter 5:7).
We are blessed to have such a God who carries all our burdens. Our children are blessed, and our generation will testify to God’s goodness. Trusting in God and allowing Him to handle our issues of life makes life easier and renews our hearts.
No matter the heat or situation around us, let us always remember that we have a faithful God who will always make us stand right and shine out. When we are rooted in Christ, our branches (generations) cannot be afraid.
We pray that our children will see the fruitfulness of trusting in God and will trust Him in every way of life. May they have faith that can stand the test of time. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”
